August inspiration by Vera Shelemekh

Hello Blue Fern Studios fans.
It's Vera Shelemekh here and I'm happy to share with you some fresh and bright summer inspiration.  I've made a botanic layout with Wanderlust paper and mixed two summer collections in a seaside layout. And for the dessert today are Happy accident chocolate boxes with lace and flowers.

The summer here in Moscow is a bit cold this year, but we had a couple of warm weeks to enjoy the Nature, to wonder with a butterfly net and breathe wonderful floral smells.
For this layout I used Wanderlust - Lakeside as background.

The photo is framed in a frame from Ever After Frame Set covered with avocado embossing powder.

I decorated the layout with many stamped flowers, Damask Flourishes chipboard covered with lime embossing powder, stamped bugs and butterflies and a sweet owl.

"Discover" is the header taken from Wanderlust Words set

First Christmas projects by Karolina Czajkowska

Hello all Bue Fern Studios fans!
Karolina here with you today sharing my November inspiration for Blue Fern Studios.

This time I have a very big problem with prepare anything for my inspiration, because Vintage Christmas collections are so beautiful, that I would like to look at them, and look and look, without cutting ;)
But of course i made a bold decision and finally I cut them all :D

Oh, Deer!

My first Christmas proposition in this year is a wooden shadow-box in a shape of a house. First I painted a house using chalk paint, then I could start to add papers and flowers and chipboards. I used a lot of chipboard pieces! I covered them with embossing powder - white ones with a "snow" embossing powder, the Deer ornament with "oatmeal" and a "antique gold" embossing powder and the Dangled Flake with three embossing powders - "breeze", "snow" and "frozen". I mixed it together in a small jar to make sure that it will be looking good, and then I put it on a chipboard. It's a great idea to make new embossing powders effects.

Christmas Cards

I really like to make Christmas cards. It's very sentimental for me because I started my scrapbooking adventure from exactly Christmas cards :D This time I prepared for you 4 cards with using Vintage Christmas collections. I think you can treat these collections like a one very big collection because papers are matching together perfectly.

Hello ladies,

Smile

For my title, I use the Smile chipboard from the Laughter, Happy, Smile set. I paint it with white Gesso and I emboss it with the Imagine Ink Cotton Candy powder.

Under my picture, I use the Damask Flourish chipboard.  It come in set of two pieces.  I emboss it with the Imagine Ink  Fern embossing powder. I use the Vintage Edges Stamps in my background.

In my flowers cluster, I had the Layering Stems chipboards set.   I simply paint them with White Gesso.

To create my background, I cut pieces in the Tangier Page Panel. I paint those pieces with white gesso and glue it to the background paper.  I use the Celebration paper from the Blush Collection.  Then I slash different pink ink on it.  When the ink where dry, I stamp it randomly with the Texture Circles stamp set.
