3 layouts concerning the flower with Yuko

Hello! Yuko here!
Today,I will shere you 3layout  concerning the flower.

【Million Dollar SMILE】
This layout is concerning the sunflower.
Although our family went to the famous sunflower field
It had not yet bloomed ...
So I bought a cut flowers.
Daughter is very happy this smile!
Exactly Million Dollar SMILE!!!

This title is wonderful.
It is good to the photograph of the smile! !

I painted to become the gradation with yellow and the ink of the orange.

I use the cardboard of the mesh well.

After having painted with jesso,
I processed it with emboss powder (AUBURN) partially.

It was painted gesso to the chip board (Paisley & Vine Medley).
Lightly coat the yellow ink to dry
The yellow glitter SUNSHINE was put in the bond.

Heart of the chip board is embossed in BUTTERCUP and BREEZE
I painted stickles to finish.

... which at last was usable as I wanted to use this photograph sometime!

I added a design to the paper of the mount with modeling paste and painted with thin pink with an aqueous coloring agent to become the atmosphere that was a fairy tale.

After chip board of bricks that was embossed with MUSHROOM, dipped to hit the modeling paste
I put a three-dimensional feeling.

with my sister with my mother.
I wanted to leave it in memory and used it for a layout.

The cardboard of the title did emboss in GINGER.
It is a refined, good color!

Frame portion is embossed in OATMEAL
Only the portion of the leaves to be green, while covering little by little
It was embossed in two colors of green (LIME / VERDENT).

A flower is a thing of Blue Fern Studios, too.
It is refined and is easy to use the thing having a pearl midmost.

It was studded with modeling paste and art stone.

All Natural with Autumn Anthology- By Keren Tamir

Hi Everyone
Its Keren here on the Blue Fern Studios Blog featuring the Autumn Anthology collection again.

"All Natural"

For this first layout I used the Gazebo paper which features a beautiful Gazebo across the right side. I used it to surround the chipboard frame around the photo.

I used the chipboard shrine frame around the photo. I primed it with white gesso and then sprayed it with the Blue Fern Studio Leaf spray and mixed it with another yellow coloured spray. Then I stamped on it with the brick stamp from the essential textures set.

I added flowers, butterflies and also used the brick stamp around the page to add to the garden feel of the layout.

"Cute Smile"

For this layout I used the Autumn Anthology Balcony paper.
I smeared some white gesso on the background and then sprayed all three Blue Fern Studios sprays for this collection: Leaf, Persimmon and Sky.
Then I stamped the sprayed area with one of the Weathered Doilies from the stamp set.

I framed the photo in the smile clip frame from the set. Then I used the Paisley and Vine medley chipboard and the Cute title word to embellish. All chipboard pieces where inked with both Leaf and Persimmon sprays.

Thank you so much for visiting the Blue Fern Studios blog

Have a wonderful day!!!

Autumn Anthology with Bente.

Hi, it's Bente here with a couple of layouts to share using the latest gorgeous
paper collection Autumn Anthology.
It is simply a mixture of stunning designs and some of my most favourite colours.

Here is my first page with the collection:

Did you know that Blue Fern Studios now even carry mists? There will be new mists with each collection and I used two of the new colours here; Imagine Inks Leaf and Sky.

I painted the chipboard title-words a neutral beige colour and decorated with some micro beads.
I used  the stunning  Jackie's Window to ground my design and this one is also painted with a mix of acrylic paint and some green mist. After it dried I went over the edges with a small chalk ink pad.

As you can see I  used some of the new stamps on my page.
I used all three designs from the Essential Textures set.
I cut out the banner that you can see under the chipboard from one of the calling cards.
The title is made of a couple of words from the  Chunky Words set.

To make my flower cluster complete I added a few small chipboard twigs called Berry Stems.
I love the brown colour they were painted and the delicate look of them.

Ok, now for my second page for today:

Another beautiful sheet from the Autumn Anthology collection
I actually fussy cut a part of one paper and added it on top of this blue one, (in case you go looking for a paper that looks like this :-D)

I used the Royal Heart Frame to surround the photo on top of the layers of paper and calling cards.

After I painted the heart frame a suitable colour I heat-embossed it with gold using one of the same textured stamps as above. I think the look is really neat!!

I added a few bits and pieces from the inside of larger chipboard pieces.
I find these are good to hold on to as they can be really useful.

As you see from the shot here I have added quite a lot of media to my layered papers.
I added different beads as well as glitter gel, paint, gesso, and ink.
There is a certain shimmer to the page that does not come through in the pictures.

Finally a little reminder that there's still ample time to join in our sketch challenge for September.
Below is a picture of the sketch and a page I made as an example.

You can read ALL bout the challenge HERE.

Thanks for looking!

Three Layouts Featuring The Frolic Collection

Hi eveyone!  Debbie here with you today sharing 3 layouts I created with the new Frolic paper collection.  I love the colors in this collection, perfect for your summer photos.

My first layout highlights the Amoroso, Dans le Jardin, Friendship and Calling Cards paper.  I thought they were perfect for a somewhat masculine layout.
Lots of layering behind my photo and some fussy cutting.

I used the Collage Border and Bits of Honey chipboard, both of which I primed with some gesso and then colored with water colors.

My flower cluster on the right hand side along with some of the Bits Of Honey chipboard.

As you can see I again used some of the Bits Of Honey chipboard and the word Noted from the Arrow Words which I colored with some water color paints.

My next layout is a feminine one.  Love the pretty color combinations in the background paper, Mercantile. I also used the Friendship and Calling Cards papers.
Lots of subtle stamping with the Forever and Vintage stamps.

From the Arrow Words I used Love This, which I covered with gesso and applied some gelatos.   I also used the Gatsby Collage which I also covered with gesso and then added some gelatos and micro beads

Tucked beneath my cluster of flowers in the new Floral Lattice Bits chipboard.

Here I used more of the Floral Lattice Bits and added some micro beads.

My last layout I created using the August sketch and the Friendship, Allegro, Dans le Jardin and Calling Cards papers.  I added some stenciling and mists on my background to blend with my flowers. My photo is backed with a chipboard piece from the Paisley and Vine Medley and some Mini Flourish chipboard pieces are nestled among the flowers.

My title Smile is from the Smile, Funny, Giggle set which I colored with some gelatos.

Here you can see more of the Paisley & Vine Medley chipboard which I painted with gesso and misted.  I cut a few butterflies from the Dans le Jardin paper and added them to my clusters.

I hope you have enjoyed my layouts.  Don't forget that you still have time to enter our August Sketch Challenge.  You can find all of the details here.

Thanks for stopping by!
